PIL Hub Seminar: Casting a Glance at Critical Theory’s Package Leaflet (EVENT POSTPONED)
March 13, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
This event has been postponed. We will update the web-page with the new date once it is confirmed.
The PIL hub lunch-time seminar series aims to provide an opportunity to discuss and debate leading research on contemporary, theoretical and historical issues of international law.
This seminar aims to discuss in a playful way the role and function of critical theory in international legal scholarship. Vilified in some circles and worshipped in others, critical theory is in quest of an identity, which it aspires to achieve but dreads to attain, for once it accomplishes the mission it set out to perform, its demise will be inevitable. What critical theory is, what it can be used for (and how) are some of the questions that will be touched upon and, hopefully, discussed with the audience.
Our next PIL Hub seminar will be held on 13th March, from 13.00 to 14.00 in the Moot Court Room.
We will have the opportunity to hear from Andrea Bianchi.
This event will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
