The LLB First Year No-Career-Chat Christmas Party!

Many of you have wondered whether you are the only person in your year who is not preoccupied with careers and vacation-schemes. Others have expressed doubts about whether it is even possible to go a whole evening without someone mentioning the ‘V’ word.* We are hoping to show that you are not, and that it really is possible!

If you are tired of hearing about insight days and vacation schemes, and just want a night free of career-chat, come and join us for a Christmas celebration. There will be drinks and nibbles and, we hope, the chance to get to know more about your fellow first year lawyers than their application schedule!

We particularly encourage those of you who are hesitant to engage in careers activities this year to come along, so that you can meet one another.

There is only one rule: no talk of careers allowed. This will be strictly enforced!
